Monday A Cultural Mosaic Objective:  Students will explain the contributions of European, Hispanic, African, Asian, and Native American society.		Activities: *CNN Student News *Students will take notes on Chapter 1 Section 2.  * VOCABULARY WAS NOT ASSIGNED - we will do vocabulary on Wednesday		Homework: Bring small photo of yourself for the quilt project.
Tuesday Who Are Americans? Students will be able to describe American diversity as a mosaic		Activities: VIDEO:  Are you an American?  Video Assignment:  Media Focus Worksheet 10 Question POP QUIZ was given today over Ch1 Sec1&2		Homework:   Bring small photo of yourself for the quilt project
Wednesday Values that Unite Us Objective:    Students will review the three basic values that unite Americans.		Activities: *CNN Student News Students will take notes over Chapter 1 Section 3 and complete vocabulary  for Chapter 1		Homework: DUE Friday: Vocabulary (write word definition, a sentence or a drawing) TEST FRIDAY! Did you bring your photo?
Thursday Students will learn why equal respect is part of the American dream Chapter 1 Review		Activities: Chapter 1 Review Review for Chapter 1 Test Students will engage in an activity/game		Homework: TEST FRIDAY!
Friday Foundations of Citizenship	Activities: Chapter 1 TEST		Assignment: No homework Monday:  Bring Markers, Magazines, Glue, Scissors, Colored Pencils and your photo to class.
