This is what is happening in Civics' class April 15 - April 19

Monday   Project Citizen Check for completion!	In class activities:   Students reviewed their completed portfolio with the checklist.  Students completed a reflection. Students began working on speeches for Wed and Thu presentations.	Homework:   Finish REFLECTIONS! Due tomorrow.
Tuesday – Wednesday   Project Citizen: Speech Writing/Practice	In class activities: Students are preparing and practicing their speeches for their presentation on Thursday.   NOTE:  2nd Hour will begin their presentations on Wednesday.	Homework: Practice your speeches!
Thursday Project Citizen presentations!	In class activities: Students will have their Project Citizen presentations during Civics’ class. Judges will be present to hear their class present.	Homework:   No homework!
Project Citizen is completed!  Students will be showcasing their work on Wednesday during 2nd hour and on Thursday in all classes.  Below is the list of projects the students have been researching.   1st Hour – Stp th Txts Stp th Wrecks! 2nd Hour –Funding our Future (Wed) and You Booze You Cruise You Lose (Thur) 5th  Hour – Stop Drinking Start Thinking 7th Hour – A Text of Call can Wreck it All! 9th Hour – Reefer Valley
