Monday, September 8	Activities Objective:  Are you an American?  Who is an American?  Students will learn how our population came to be so diverse. Activity:  CNN News Chapter 1 / Section 1 - Notes on where Americans live.  Homework: Vocabulary Chapter 1  - Definitions and a picture.  (Due Wednesday) Bring a photo of yourself for the class Mosaic.
Tuesday, September 9	Activities Objective:  Students will explain the contributions of European, Hispanic, African, Asian, and Native American society. Activity:  CNN Student News Students will take notes on Chapter 1 Section 2.  Homework:  Finish Vocabulary & Bring a photo of yourself for the class Mosaic.
Wednesday, September 10	Activities Objective:  Students will understand how diverse the American population is. Activity:  VIDEO:  Are you an American?  Video Assignment:  Media Focus Worksheet Homework:  Bring photo of yourself for upcoming project!
Thursday, September 11	Activities Objective:  Students will review the three basic values that unite Americans. Activity:  CNN Student News Students will take notes over Ch1 Section3 and have an open note quiz. Homework:  Bring photo of yourself for upcoming project!
Friday, September 12	Activities Objective:  Students will play the review game to prepare for the test on Monday. Activity:  CNN Student News Students will play a review game for test on Monday. Homework:  TEST MONDAY!!!
