This week Wednesday, April 23 – Special Guest Senator Dale Schultz  To respond to Project Citizen questions from 8:05 – 9:05
Monday– Friday Monday: Bibliography and Draft Essay Tuesday:  Turn in questions and sign up for Senator Schultz session Wednesday:  Senator Schultz from 8:05-9:05 Portfolio Completed Binder Completed Thursday & Friday: Practice presentations (timing of 4 minutes per group)	Activities Students are researching material for their class topic and preparing a portfolio/documentation binder/and presentation.  Students are using easy bib to create an annotated bibliography.  http://www.easybib.com/ Class Topics: 1st Hour – Animal Testing 2nd Hour – WI Unemployment 5th Hour – DUI’s in WI 7th Hour – School Funding 9th Hour – Home Invasions	Homework: C.O.W. will be in the classroom to use for research all week. This project is an in class project – however there may be various activities students need to work on outside of class as deemed necessary by their group to complete the project on time.

Weekly Lesson Plans for April 7 - April 11

Monday– Friday C.O.W. will be in the classroom to use for research all week. Class Topics: 1st Hour – Animal Testing 2nd Hour – WI Unemployment 5th Hour – DUI’s in WI 7th Hour – School Funding 9th Hour – Home Invasions	Activities Students are researching material for their class topic and preparing a portfolio/documentation binder/and presentation.  Students explored samples from previous portfolios. Students will use easy bib to create an annotated bibliography.  http://www.easybib.com/ Students will use their essay planner and rubrics to begin their research.	Assignment: Each group must have their weekly goals turned in on Monday by the end of class. This project is an in class project – however there may be various activities students need to work on outside of class as deemed necessary by their group. Projects must be completed by April 25th.
