Wednesday Executive Branch	Activities Summative Assessment over The Executive Branch	Assignment: No Homework
Thursday & Friday Legislative and Executive Branch of Government	Activities Students will watch The American President.  Students will have a culminating activity on Monday where they will identify the White House Staff positions, the job of a lobbyist, interest groups, campaign tactics, checks and balances, and the role of the President in the capacity of chief executive, administrator, of party, citizen, diplomat, of State, Commander and Chief and Chief Legislator.	Assignment: No homework (work will be completed in class related to the movie.)

Lesson Plans week of May 11 - May 16

Monday– Wednesday Project Citizen	Activities Mon:  Students will start the week practicing their presentations. Tues:  Students will have their final presentations. Wed:  Students will complete reflections and peer reviews.	Assignment: This project is an in class project – however there may be various activities students need to work on outside of class as deemed necessary to be ready for their presentation.
